 Frogmore Creek  Evermore Riesling

Grape variety: 100% handpicked Riesling

Vineyards: Frogmore Creek Riesling is sourced from vines grown in their family owned Vineyard at Penna, Southern Tasmanian.  Section: Top 2-rows of Frogmore Creek C-block

Tasting notes: The grapes for the 2009 Evermore Riesling was unconventionally fermented on skins and then aged in barrel for 8-months. At release in January 2011 this wine was strongly perfumed with orange zest and Roman spices; a highly textured palate is lengthened with cool climate mineral acid. This riesling may reward brief decanting before serving, especially in the first 5 years from release.
